This Privacy Policy explains how Proads Media Inc ("we," "us") handles information in connection with the My AI Singer desktop application ("the App") and the myaisinger.com website. We have designed the App to keep your creative work on your own computer.
The short version: your songs, singers, and videos stay on your own machine. We don't upload them, see them, or store them. The only personal information we handle is an email address if you join the launch list or buy a license — and purchases are processed by Gumroad, not by us.
When you use the App, the following are saved locally on your own computer and are not transmitted to us:
We have no access to any of this. It never leaves your computer except as described in the next section.
To generate images, separate audio, and render video, the App sends the necessary material (for example, your chosen audio segment and singer image) directly from your computer to the AI providers whose keys you supply — currently fal.ai, and Anthropic if you enable the optional AI director. That data goes from you to them; it does not pass through us. Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies. If you activate a license, the App contacts our payments provider, Gumroad, to confirm the key is valid and to bind it to your machine. This exchanges your license key and a machine identifier. It does not send your songs, images, or videos.
The App reports a small number of anonymous events so we can tell how many people use it, which versions are still in use, and where people get stuck. We record:
Every event also carries the App version, your macOS version, and the language your Mac is set to.
These events contain no account, no name, no email, no machine identifier and none of your content — no song titles, file names, singer names, prompts, lyrics, images, videos or API keys. Error messages are never sent as written; they are replaced with a general category, because a raw error can contain the folder path your work is stored in. Sessions are identified by a random number that is not linked to you and cannot be traced back to you. Your approximate country is derived from the network connection, and your IP address is not stored. The data is processed by Aptabase, a privacy-focused analytics provider.
You can turn this off. Open ⚙ Settings in the App and
untick “Send anonymous usage statistics”. It takes effect
immediately and nothing further is sent. (You can also set the environment
variable MVS_NO_TELEMETRY=1 before launching, which overrides
the setting.) The App works identically either way, and it never sends
anything while your Mac is offline.
If you join our launch notification list on the website, we collect your email address for the single purpose of telling you when the product is available. This is handled through our form provider, Formspree. You can ask us to remove your address at any time by emailing support@myaisinger.com. We do not sell or rent your email address.
When you buy a license, the purchase is processed by Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record. Gumroad (and its payment processor) collects the information needed to complete the sale — such as your email, billing details, and payment method — under Gumroad's privacy policy. We never see or store your full payment card details. We receive order information such as your email and license key so we can support your purchase.
Our website is a simple informational site. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not use cookies for analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and referring sites without cookies and without building a profile of you or tracking you across websites. Basic, non-identifying server logs may also be kept by our web host for security and reliability.
The App and website are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Because your creative content lives on your device, you control it directly — you can delete your projects, videos, and stored keys from your computer at any time. For the email address you gave us, contact support@myaisinger.com to access or delete it.
